Meet the team

At Jordan Dental our team is very important. Each member plays an important role.

All of our team have responsible roles as dental assistants and receptionists as we like all of our team members to get to know patients on a one-to-one basis and be able to fulfil any role.

Our team’s interest is to make each patient feel welcome and comfortable in the practice.

David Jordan

David Jordan qualified from Queen’s University Belfast Dental School in 1978. He worked for a year as a community clinical dental officer for the SHSSB (Southern Health and Social Services board) in Banbridge, before leaving to take up a position in general dental practice in Southampton.

After a period in a dental practice in Romsey, Hampshire, he returned home to Belfast to set up his own dental practice in September 1983. As the practice grew, he became involved in the training of dental nurses at Rupert Stanley College of Further Education, subsequently renamed, Belfast Institute of Further & Higher Education (BIFHE), and Belfast Metropolitan College (Belfast Met). He also worked part-time in the School of Dentistry.

The Jordan Dental Care practice relocated to its present location in 1988, when the practice was approved as a training practice for the Northern Ireland Vocational Training Scheme in General Practice for recently qualified dentists. David has enjoyed the experience of mentoring and assisting many new graduates integrate into general dental practice.

Having a keen interest in treating anxious patients, David trained in Newcastle University obtaining a Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry in 2005.

David is an active member of the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses, examining in both the National, and Conscious Sedation Certificates.

David’s particular interests in dentistry are cosmetics and sedation.
David is married with two daughters.

John Black BDS

John Black qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 1998. He completed his vocational training year at Jordan Dental and has been with the practice since. John is married and has three children, Harmony and Jude and Seth.
John believes in providing high quality dentistry in a relaxed and friendly manner. This has led him to continually develop his skills throughout his career. John is certified in the use of the Inman aligner® to straighten crowded front teeth in only 6-16 weeks. He has completed the S.A.A.D. conscious sedation course to help treat nervous patients.

Conor O’Reilly BSc;BDS

BDS Queen’s University of Belfast 2021

GDC no: 296423

Conor qualified Queens University Belfast in 2021. He completed his foundation year in Durham and returned to Northern Ireland to take his position as associate in the practice September 2022.

Alexandra White

National Certificate NEBDN 2001

GDC no: 145886

Alexandra is our longest serving and loyal member. She has got to know many patients and has been with us from 2000. She qualified as a dental nurse with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing awarded by the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses and furthered her education in passing Sedation Nursing, Dental Radiography, Oral Health, and Implant Nursing examinations.

Sarah Harrison

Sarah is a competent team member. She has been with us since June 2004. She has passed her National Certificate Exam for Dental nursing

Kelly Campbell

Verified competency in Dental Nursing

Kelly is an ambitious team member. She has been a dental nurse since 1995 and joined our team in 2004. She has studied for her National Exam for dental nursing, and plays a big role as one of our Denplan Champions.

Jennifer Ramsey

Jennifer is a reliable team member. She has been with us from 2008, and has become a valuable team member. She has passed her National Certificate Exam for Dental nursing and Sedation Nursing.

Janelies McClure

Janelies is a valuable team member. She has been with us since January 2010. She has passed her National Certificate Exam for Dental nursing and Sedation Nursing.

Emily Jordan

National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN 2013

Emily J is a very dedicated team member. She has been with us since 2011. She is qualified with the National Diploma in Dental Nursing, Sedation nursing, Dental Radiography, and Practice Management.

She delivers work to a high standard taking on responsibilities of stock control, decontamination and is one of our Denplan Champions.

Phoebe Hendry

Phoebe joined the team in 2019, completing her National Diploma in dental nursing in 2021 and then her sedation nursing in 2022. She has already built a great rapport with the team and our patients.
